Hamsters transmit diseases

Hamsters are very delicate and vulnerable animals; they can easily get infections and pass on that infection to other human beings. Hamsters are nocturnal animals

The activities of hamsters during the night may disturb you and your children. They feel irritated when they are alone awake and have no one to play with them.

Hamsters are a risk for child safety

Most of us usually keep hamster pet for our kids. Children love to play with him. They become good friends with our children. But it also has a drawback that it can harm our children.

As we all know that hamsters are exotic and moody animals. It has mood swings. Mostly he loves to live in solitude. He never likes that he is disturbed especially when he is sleeping. Hamsters jump around little kids and disturb them.

Our children awake during day time when the hamster is sleeping. If they try to awake him, pointing him with a finger, he may bite. This bite not only causes pain but transmit infection. These infections include some serious illnesses like salmonella infection and many eye infections.

Hamsters are very delicate animals; they should be handled with care, and our children are not trained in handling this pocket pet. They are mishandling while they are trying to hold them might harm the hamster.

They can also get bitten by a hamster. As we have discussed previously, hamsters transmit various diseases. They can also transmit various infectious diseases to our children.

If children are not washing their hands properly after holding hamsters, they can get ill. To save the children from these contagious diseases, the Hawaii state banned hamsters. They are not allowed to be kept as a pet in the house.

Require proper supervision

Hamsters are tiny and delicate animals. They require the proper supervision of an active supervisor. The hamsters need proper bedding for their cage. The bedding should be soft and neat. They are always busy with burrowing activity and require water and toys for them.

The cage of the hamster should be such that it may not escape from the cage. While handling the hamster, you have to be careful not to harm this delicate creature. Aggressive in nature

If the hamster’s cage is not comfortable, and he is not getting his favorite toys, he may become aggressive. Female hamster gets easily aggressive after they have given birth to her pups. Be careful not to touch her pups; this thing makes her furious.

A female hamster feels a threat to her pups if you try to hold them. Due to the aggressive nature and damage hamsters are causing to human beings, Hawaii’s state banned hamsters. This rule was established to ensure the safety of human beings from hamsters.
